Love or hate the city of Cleveland, even a hater like Chicago Bulls forward Joakim Noah, would have to admit some respect for the Cleveland Browns fans, the most long-suffering group of football betting supporters in the NFL betting lines community.

These NFL gambling fans have suffered through not one, but two pathetic NFL betting franchises. Ironically, both franchises have been named the Browns and neither has won a Super Bowl betting trophy. But that might finally change as things seem to be finally going in the right direction for this franchise, or at least no longer going in the wrong direction.

Last year the team fired head coach Romeo Crennel and replaces him with Eric Mangini and saw no positive effect whatsoever in the NFL betting lines results. The Man genius will be back again this football betting season but he’ll be kept under a close watch by new football operations guru Mike Holmgren.

Holmgren has proven success in the NFL and has been around a lot of winners of during his tenure in the League and that should provide instant confidence and pay dividends in the NFL gambling results for the Browns. Still, how many Super Bowl betting trophies did the Seahawks hoist under his tenure?

Holmgren has had an immediate positive impact on the team in terms of the personnel package that will be on the field this coming NFL betting lines season. He cut dead weight like QBs, Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, who proved worthless during their NFL betting careers with the Browns. He also brought in some experienced pros like QB Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme, who’ve NFL gambling success in the past but neither is likely to quarterback this team to a Super Bowl.

The biggest impact Holmgren has had so far on this club and its chances of improving its NFL betting lot is his recent draft class. The Browns had arguably the best draft of any NFL betting team snagging top CB Joe Haden, likely starting Safety TJ Ward and perhaps the starting QB of the future, Colt McCoy.

Cleveland won’t win the Super Bowl betting title this season, but it’s in much better position to compete in the NFL odds than it was a year ago.

Since winning the Super Bowl trophy in 2009 there hasn’t been a lot for Steelers fans to cheer about as most of the headlines surrounding this team actually have nothing to with the NFL betting lines action, but rather embarrassing off the field incidents.

The Steelers had high hopes entering last season but string of inexplicable losses to awful teams in the middle of the NFL gambling schedule denied the team a chance to defend it’s Super Bowl betting trophy. Despite finishing the season 9-7, losses to the lowly Chiefs, Raiders and others sunk the NFL playoff betting hopes of this team and hopefully taught them the importance of not taking anything for granted when it comes to NFL betting lines action. Bet now at SBG Global.com

That difficult lesson likely would have served the team well as they prepare during the NFL gambling off season, and it still might, but the offseason has brought nothing but more headaches for the proud franchise and even before the first whistle is blown, the 2010 NFL betting season will be plenty challenging.

QB Ben Roethlisberger has had an interesting off season to say the least. While he avoided jail time or being traded he’s got plenty of work to do in the locker room to regain the respect of his teammates. In fact, he may regain that, and that could lead to a horrible result in the NFL gambling season ahead.

But if any team can survive this type of turmoil it’s the Steelers. Coach Mike Tomlin made some mistakes last year, but he’s young, he’s learned from those errors and he’s just about as professional as they come in the NFL betting action. The loss of star WR Santonio Holmes also will have major effect on the Steelers offensive game plan, but with the emergence of speedy Mike Wallace and the return of veteran Randal Antwuan-El this group should be just fine.

If the Steelers defense can carry the team through the 4-stretch that Big Ben will be suspended at the beginning of het NFL gambling season, this team should make the playoffs and at that point, anything is possible.

Bill Belichek the mad scientist of the NFL draft somehow acquired about three dozen picks in the run up to the 2010 NFL draft and by all accounts made the most of his opportunity to breathe youth into his aging ball club.

With a dozen picks in the draft the Pats could select a whole new starting offense or defense and have a sub to spare, but as always one of the most respected coaches in NFL gambling used the multiple picks to fix multiple holes in what was already a pretty good team by NFL betting standards.

The Pats particularly mined the talent of the University of Florida for talent taking three Gators between Rounds 2 and 4. LBs Jermaine Cunningham and Brandon Spikes will be ready to play immediately and after having competed against top talent the college football betting level week in and week out should excel. TE Aaron Hernandez is also ready to step in and contribute the teams NFL betting success immediately as well. Hernandez was rated as high as a top five talent on some NFL gambling draft boards and appears to be a steal going in the fourth round.

The team’s top pick, CB Devin McCourty, isn’t a big name outside of NFL scouting circles but saw his stock rise in the run up to the NFL draft may not contribute immediately but has a bright future in the NFL betting scene thanks to his fundamentals. In Round 2 the Pats took the first of their two TEs selecting Rob Gronkowski of the U of Arizona. The former Wildcat has massive size and can block and catch with equal skill.

The other player taken by the Pats in this year’s NFL draft that should walk into the starting lineup when the football betting schedule begins in the fall is punter Zoltan Mesko from the University of Michigan.

The rest of the Pats dozen NFL draft picks are less likely to have an immediate impact but many should make the squad and develop into contributors in the NFL betting action within a few years.

The QB class of ’10 is one of the most intriguing in recent NFL draft memory. Not so much for the talent of quality, but for the evolution and changes that the QBs and the group have gone through over the past 12 months of NFL gambling experts scrutiny. The only constant about the 2010 NFL draft QB class has been Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford at the top, but with the NFL draft still two days off, maybe even that could change before the first player is taken.

After the 2009 college football betting season this QB class was receiving as much NFL betting hype as any in memory. It was being compared to the likes of the legendary 1983 NFL draft that produces three Hall of Fame QBs, NFL gambling legends Jim Kelly, John Elway and Dan Marino. Players like Colt McCoy, Bradford, Tim Tebow and others had NFL betting scouts drooling.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.comSportsbook

But the 2009 college football betting season was full of injuries and disappointment and the stock of this class as a whole took a hit. Bradford missed most of the action but still retained his #1 ranking among the QBs by NFL gambling experts. Tebow and McCoy fell off the face of the NFL draft map. Junior Jimmy Clausen also entered the mix when he declared for the NFL draft early after an impressive statistical season at Notre Dame.

But in the months that have gone by since the end of the NCAA football wagering season there have been more seismic shifts in the QB landscape and now it’s very possible that instead of Bradford being the only QB taken in the first round of the NFL draft, we could three, maybe even four QBs names’ called on Thursday.

Bradford seems a lock at the #1 pick overall according to almost every single online betting site. It seems as if Clausen grades out at Round 1 status on most NFL gambling sites as well. The big surprise and most likely the third QB to go in Round 1 is Tebow. No players’ NFL draft stock has risen as quickly as Tebow’s in the past two months and most football betting experts have Tebow going between picks 20-45 –maybe even higher.

And even though there hasn’t been a lot press about McCoy, many NFL draft experts could now seem him going in the late first round by a team looking to develop their QB position for the future. All told, we’ll see at least two QBs going Round 1 of the NFL draft and perhaps as many as four.

Whether it was a brilliant or an insane move by Pittsburgh Steelers to trade away former Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes matters little now but you can be sure that that move will have a major impact on the upcoming NFL Draft.

The move came as just the latest in an NFL betting off season that has seen many an interesting move. The McNabb trade to Philly comes to mind as does the Delomme signing in Cleveland. But neither of those moves will likely have as big an impact on the upcoming draft as the Steelers moving Holmes this NFL betting lines offseason.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.comSportsbook

According to NFL lines betting experts the McNabb trade will have one major effect in the Skins are now very unlikely to take QB in the first round of the NFL draft. But its more probable that new coach Mike Shannahan didn’t felt there was a QB after top pick Sam Bradford that graded out as an NFL draft first round pick and the team was always more likely to take an OT with its first pick.

By dealing Holmes the Steelers create two very big possible pick changes in the upcoming NFL draft. Pittsburgh now has a gaping hole at WR, a position that before this major NFL betting trade no one thought the team would be addressing this NFL draft. But the team will have to think seriously about taking a WR with their first pick. Dez Bryant of Oklahoma State is the top rated NFL betting prospect at this position and the Steelers would love to see him fall to them at the bottom half of the first round.

The Jets, by acquiring Holmes have availed themselves of needing to try and grab a top receiver in the draft and can now focus on other positions.

But it’s been quite long time since the Niners even had a winning season, let alone won an NFL playoffs betting game. With two picks in the first round of the 2010 NFL draft the team has a good chance of turning things around and getting back on the winning track according to NFL gambling experts.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.comSportsbook

Head Coach Mike Singletary seems to have this team on the right track and true to his character he has the team playing spirited defense and one the verge of challenging for an NFC West football betting crown. With the 13th and 17th pick in this year’s NFL draft the Niners can address just about any need they have which, unfortunately, are many. The biggest weakness for San Fran is QB. The team has conditionally supported Alex Smith as the starter but as any NFL betting fan knows, Smith is no long-term solution and a below average QB in the NFL odds action.

The team could take flyer on someone like Jimmy Clausen who may or may not be available at the 13th pick or they could instead opt to get a lineman to protect Smith and hope he has a breakthrough year in the 2010 NFL betting season.

This year’s NFL Draft class is deep in terms of O-line talent and as such the team will likely go for a skill player with its first pick in the Draft. Clemson’s CJ spiller is a terrific RB/WR/KR/PR who can play just about any skill position on the field and is arguably the most electrifying player in NFL Draft. He’s a threat to score every time he touches the ball and should provide an immediate boost to one of the blandest offenses in football betting.

With the second pick in the first round look for the Niners address the O-line needs and take a player like Idaho’s G Mike Iupati.

For a team that finished 9-7 and failed to make the NFL Betting playoffs last season the Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of areas that they can in improve upon in the upcoming NFL draft. For the past few years the needs of the NFL wagering franchise haven’t really changed much and entering this year’s NFL draft the two biggest needs are O-line and CBs.

NFL betting lines experts seem to think the Steelers are going to take a O-lineman with their first pick in this year’s NFL draft. That seems like a very reasonable choice as the Steelers once proud running games has suffered mightily in recent NFL betting seasons and the team ranks near the top of the list of QB sacks allowed nearly every NFL wagering season.

But this line of thought could be misleading and the shrewd NFL betting lines analysts would suggest that the running game is becoming passing in NFL wagering competition and that new coach Mike Tomlin doesn’t share the same passion for the ground game as former Coach Bull Cowher. And in regards to the sack issue, the sacks are more a product of Big Ben holding the ball too long trying to make plays down field in the heat of the football betting competition than poor blocking. Add to that the fact that Steelers almost never use first round picks to draft O-line and most informed football betting experts seem to think Steelers will go a different route with the first pick in the NFL draft.

CB is one of the most important positions in the professional football wagering action and the Steelers are very bad at this position. If Florida CB Joe Haden is still on the NFL draft board at the #18 pick, he’ll be a Steeler. But he’ll almost certainly be off the board and it’s more likely the second rated CB in the NFL draft, Kyle Wilson of Boise State, will be wearing a Steeler uniform in the upcoming NFL gambling season.

However, this year is a bit of a rarity according to most NFL betting lines experts as there seems to be an unusually large number of experienced and somewhat successful free agent QBs available right now.

Marc Bulger was just the latest slightly worn but still talented QB to be released into the free agent market and he and his fellow signal callers could have a major impact on the NFL betting action next year as well as the upcoming NFL draft.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.com

Granted teams at the top of the NFL are not going to pass a potential NFL gambling action superstar like Sam Bradford to sign Bulger (which is precisely why the Rams cut him in the first place) but teams lower down in the draft might look to sign a veteran starter and pass on addressing this position with its early NFL draft picks.

This year’s NFL draft class is not an especially one in terms of QBs, according to most NFL wagering experts, and so it makes since that teams would opt for a proven entity instead of wasting a precious draft pick on player that may never have an impact on an NFL betting line.

Jason Campbell, the former starter for the Washington Redskins is now on the market thanks to the Donovan McNabb trade and although he never had much NFL betting success with his team, many football betting experts credit this to a revolving door of head coaches and offensive schemes. These two players in particular would be much preferable choices for teams looking to spend a late 1st or 2nd round NFL draft pick to get a good backup/potential short term starter than choosing a borderline QB that early.

With Jimmy Clausen the only other QB that grades out anywhere near a first round talent by NFL wagering experts expect to see teams address their QB needs in free agency rather than in the early rounds of the NFL draft.

The Miami Dolphins are a team in limbo and team that needs immediate help in the upcoming NFL Draft. After finishing the season with a disappointing 7-9 record in the NFL gambling this team finds itself at an interesting crossroads in the NFL wagering competition and must get help immediately in the NFL draft.

The franchise is committed to winning and proved that this NFL betting offseason by signing free agent ILB Karlos Dansby to the one of the biggest contracts for a linebacker in sports betting history. But with the middle-linebacker hole plugged with Dansby there are still plenty of other concerns for team that is either two young or two old at most positions to compete for an NFL wagering playoff spot.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.com

With third-year QB Chad Henne locked in at the starting spot he needs a decent set of receivers if he’s ever going to become a decent player in the league. This seems like the most logical NFL draft move for the Dolphins. The team’s starting receiving corps is the worst of any team in the NFL betting competition and is the team’s most glaring need.

Oklahoma State’s Dez Bryant is far and away the top rated WR according to NFL gambling experts and the ‘Fins would love to have him. The only question is whether or not he’ll still be available at the 12th pick of the NFL draft or will some other NFL betting team snatch him up first.

If Bryant is unavailable or if WR-hating Bill Parcells opts to go in another direction, NT is the team’s other glaring need. With Jason Ferguson suspended for the first 8 games of the 2010 NFL wagering season and the team undecided if they want to re-sign him, the team will have to fill this hole in the NFL draft. Dan Williams of Tennessee looks to be the best interior lineman that will be left at the 12th pick and it’s very likely either he or Bryant will be wearing a Miami Dolphin uniform in the upcoming NFL wagering season.

If there is one certainty in the NFL draft it is uncertainty. The upcoming draft is now just a month away and already the hundreds of mock draft boards put on line from everyone from respectable sports publications to NFL betting lines sites have changed dozens of times over the past few weeks. And that’s pretty much par for the course when it comes to the NFL draft.

The reason for that is simple: no one knows which player is going to be drafted at which spot, not even the NFL betting teams themselves. All the teams know which players they’d like to take but every team, with the exception of the awful team that wins the dubious right to select first in the NFL draft is dependent on the actions of the teams that precede it. And for that very reason the football draft is the most exciting in all of professional sports betting and all but impossible to predict. But is sure is fun to try.

For more details about NFL Betting Lines please go to SBG Global.com

And for that very reason sports betting fans love creating a million different mock draft scenarios and checking out other possible draft scenarios listed on online betting sights. This affinity for mock drafting has actually grown into a cottage industry for the online betting sites and now fans of the NFL draft can actually bet on where they think players will be taken and wager on their favorite football betting team’s selection as well.

It’s a perfect fit and a fantastic development for fans of football gambling. During the month of March the NFL gambling scene is all but dead and wagering on the NFL draft not only provides football fans with a source of entertainment but it’s also a valuable way to keep up on NFL teams and prepare for the upcoming football betting lines competition in the fall.
