The 2-5 Cincinnati Bengals are team in trouble and their Week 9 matchup against the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers is a must win situation. With Cleveland’s (3-5) surprise win over the New England Patriots (6-2) on Sunday the Bengals are now in last place in the AFC North. The playoffs are all but impossibility at this point with the stiff divisional competition and the best the Bengals can hope for this season is a winning record.

In something of a rarity this week’s Monday Night NFL betting odds matchup will feature two teams that are both coming off a Bye week. There’s little doubt that the Indianapolis Colts will benefit the most from this week off as this team has been fighting injuries all season long and would otherwise have to dress coaching staff to fill out the roster.
Indy (4-2) has managed to get off to a strong start despite one of the longest injury lists in the league. Heading into the 2010 NFL sports betting action both the San Diego Chargers and the Tennessee Titans were expected to be competing for playoff spots.
