Steelers end NFL Draft suspense by keeping Roethlisberger

The biggest NFL betting story heading into the NFL draft wasn’t even about which players were going to be selected first in the process this year. Instead, the fallout created by Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger bled over into the NFL draft action and threatened to overshadow the entire process.

After being under investigation for sexual assault, for the second time in two years, Big Ben’s off field antics took center stage in the run up to the biggest off season event for NFL gambling fans. Rumors were rampant that the Steelers would trade the troubled, but talented franchise QB on or before the NFL draft.

Plenty of questions in this year’s NFL Draft

Heading into the 2010 college football betting season it seemed as if safety might be on of the deepest positions in the upcoming NFL draft. Above average WR in the 2010 NFL Draft

In the past, many NFL betting fans find themselves starved for top NFL receiver talent but they should be able to find plenty of help at that position in this year’s NFL draft. While the 2010 NFL draft class won’t be as rich in receiver talent as some recent classes, there should still be a handful of players that will make an immediate impact and improve their team’s chances in the NFL odds this fall or the next.
