It wasn’t all that long ago that the New York media had written the bombastic New York Jets off for dead in the NFL betting odds competition. They had just struggled to put 9 points on the board (no TDs) in a loss at home and had yet to win a game.

But that was the season opener and the New York media has a propensity to exaggerate. Since the opening day loss the Jets have won 3 straight and looked awfully balanced in the process. With a combine record of 4-0 neither of these two teams has yet to lose an NFL gambling matchup in the 2010 season but late Monday night one of them will go back to the locker room with a blemish on their perfect record.
