Colts Super Bowl Odds – Betting on NFL Saints

Perhaps the last thing Commissioner Robert Goodell would like to see the New Orleans Saints compared to is a menthol cigarette, but this team has come a long way baby! From the disgraceful days of the ‘Aints’ when a Super Bowl odds berth seemed about as likely as an alien abduction to the heady heights of NFC champion and betting on NFL darlings, this team has the backing of nearly the entire Super Bowl odds community outside of the Hoosier state.

Granted, Peyton Manning, has his share of fans who appreciate the extremely high level at which he executes and the mind-numbing preparation he puts into every betting on NFL challenge he plays in. But it’s hard not to cheer for the Saints who seem to be the betting on NFL perennial underdog. Consider the fact that it’s taken over four decade just for this to qualify for the Super Bowl odds –let alone win the biggest game in betting on NFL action.

And then there’s the fact that prior to Drew Brees’ arrival in the Big Easy this franchise had never even won a betting on NFL playoff game. Indeed, until Brees arrived playing in the Super Bowl odds was all but an impossibility and no one really believed the “Ain’ts” would ever make it.

But make it they have. And they haven’t just made it to the Super Bowl odds, but they’ve made it with the support of nearly the entire betting on NFL population’s support. After the devastation of the city by Hurricane Katrina there’s no other franchise that deserves to hoist the Lombardi Trophy and on Sunday the Saints will have their chance.
