Football Betting – Cowboys at Saints NFL Odds

December 15th, 2009 by Leave a comment Go to comments

This is the Football Betting game of the week. The Cowboys 8-5 on the NFL Odds are reeling after a loss at home the Chargers and need a win to keep their NFC East division title hopes alive. The Saints, on the other hand, are cruising and have already locked up their division and a first round playoff bye. But don’t think New Orleans will rest on its laurels as this success starved franchise would love to put together a perfect 16-0 NFL gambling season.

The Saints are arguably the best team in the NFL but they’ve pulled out a few very lucky wins in recent weeks and all their games of late have been very tight. Sooner or later the luck’s got to run out or the team has got to start playing better out of the gates to avoid the first ugly football betting loss of the season.

The Cowboys are no pushover either and feature one of the best offenses in the NFL odds. The defense is also capable and with the right game plan can make things very difficult for Drew Brees & Co.

Still, the Super Dome is an incredibly difficult to play when it’s filled to capacity raving Saints fans. The Saints defense is also the type of unit that can pressure Tony Romo into costly mistakes and turnovers.

New Orleans has taken a more conservative approach in early in recent games and it’s hurt them a bit in the Football Betting final outcomes.

Look for Brees to come out the gates firing and for the home team to try and build a bit of a lead early. The ‘Boys a good team and could make things interesting but the Saints are simply better.
