NFL Betting Lines – Chiefs at Bengals NFL Odds

The Kansas City Chiefs may be an awful team and with just 3 wins on the year they’ve had little success. But one of the teams wins has been against a highly favored NFC North team (the Steelers) and in week 16 the team will be looking repeat that success against another highly favored AFC North team, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hey, stranger things have happened. And the way that AFC playoff contenders have been getting knocked off in recent betting lines matchups, it’s not entirely impossible.

The Bengals are obviously the much better team at 9-5 and they’ll be playing in the comfort of their own stadium with the stands full of Bengals fans. Carson Palmer and Ochocinco have been one of the best QB-WR combos in the league this year, but it’s been running game and the defense that have been pounding their betting odds into the ground.

The Bengals have as well-rounded a team as they’ve had in years and there isn’t a facet of the game that they aren’t better at than the Chiefs.

Still, in the December playoff hunt anything can happen. Upsets seem to be commonplace in the NFL betting odds this time of year and if the Chiefs won it would certainly be a major upset and completely against the odds. And that’s probably why it won’t happen. Cincy has too much at stake. A win will clinch a playoff berth and the AFC North title and the Bengals know how important that is. Very hard to see Cincy losing this one at home.
