NFL Betting Lines – Preview Colts – Saints Super Bowl Odds

Everyone knows if you kill the head the head the body will die, or something along those lines. Feel free to insert your own NFL betting lines analogy about Peyton Manning and his important role in the Colts success; in the run up to the Super Bowl odds contest everyone else seems to be.

It’s no secret that the Saints have take Manning out of the equation and they must pressure him from the first NFL betting lines snap the last if they’re going to hoist the Super Bowl odds trophy for the first time in team history. The Saints are a mercurial defense to say the least and by traditional NFL betting lines standards this is not a good defense.

But it would be hard to say that this defense isn’t competent, otherwise it wouldn’t be playing in the Super Bowl odds. Still, there are only six teams in the entire NFL betting lines that are worse at defending the pass than New Orleans (ranked 26th, 235.6 ypg). And in the post season alone this team has given up 21.0 points per game in the two post season games leading up to the Super Bowl odds.

Not very impressive. But the Saints have also won both of those NFL betting lines contests in the playoffs and lead the NFL with 46 TO. Further, when this team gets a turnover it’s the best in the league at converting those into scores. In its last win on the road to the Super Bowl odds showdown it gave up 28 points but still won due to 6 TOs. It will need another such performance against the Colts on Sunday.
