NFL betting Lines – Ravens at Colts NFL Odds

Whenever you have Peyton Manning under center you have a pretty shot at winning a game. No other player in the league can boast of his knowledge of the game and of opposing defenses. Born of hours and hours of tape study there isn’t a blitz package in the NFL betting lines that he doesn’t know.

For the Colts to win this weekend against the Ravens in the NFL odds that knowledge will be invaluable. The Colts don’ t exactly have the most talented roster in sports betting and so for them to win Manning must play huge, as he’s done all season leading the Colts to the best record in the NFL (14-2).

The Colts must attack downfield early looking to exploit matchups with Reggie Wayne, a player the Colts can’t matchup 1-on-1. A safety will have to help over the top and this should open the middle for Dallas Clark, the same as it has in every other sports betting matchup this season for the Colts. As long as Manning stays ahead of the blitz and isn’t fooled into errant throws by all pro Ed Reed the Colts will put points on the board.

The biggest question mark for Indy is slowing down the Ravens running game which is averaging 138 yards per game and has been unstoppable of late. The Colts are a terrible run-stopping unit giving up 126.5 ypg. They must get better or Manning will never have a chance to lead this offense to end zone and Baltimore will dominate time of possession.
