NFL Odds – Eagles could be the NFC dark horse – Sports Betting

NFL odds show that the Eagles are now officially in the Driver’s Seat in the NFC East. At 9-4 they are a game up on Dallas, two games up on the Giants after a wild finish in their week 15 shootout, and about a million games ahead of the struggling Redskins. And with one more game remaining against the Cowboys in the final week of the regular sports betting season this team basically controls its own destiny.

There are various scenarios that could play in the NFC but whatever happens it seems as if the Eagles will be in the thick of the playoff NFL odds. This is a team that has surprised some people this year and it may just be the best Eagles team in a long time.

Coming into the season many pro football odds analyst thought the team’s youth might be a major weakness but it’s actually proven to be a major strength. Young playmakers like DeSean Jackson, Jeremy MacLin, LeSean McCoy and others have all played key roles in this season’s NFL odds successes and will be a major part of any post season success this team might have as well.

Philly has gone through an extreme makeover in the past two seasons and defense no longer sets the tone for this franchise. The offense is now the team’s greatest weapon and QB Donovan McNabb has never had so much talent to utilize.

What sets this offense apart from some very good Eagle’s offense in the past is the fact that the unit can real off a game changing big play at any moment and that’s been something that has been lacking in Philly for a very long time.
