Online Betting – Chargers are streaking NFL Odds

Across the online betting NFL odds landscape the dominant story right now is the Saints and Colts quest for perfection. At 14-0 these two teams have been as good as humanly possible and have a very legitimate shot at finishing the regular season undefeated. But lost in this quest for perfection has been the San Diego Chargers impressive run of 8 straight wins and the team’s emergence as one of the best teams in NFL Odds.

Football experts all like this team’s chances in the playoffs and it’s become quite en vogue for columnists to state to how ‘no team wants to face the Chargers in online betting in January. There is much truth that overplayed sentiment but are the Chargers as good as everyone in the NFL odds world is making them out to be?

On offense there isn’t a lot you can do to stop them but the running game is definitely the weakest link. All this talk of LT being back has been overblown and team’s can focus on dropping an extra man into coverage without much concern.

The defense has been playing much better of late but is still an average NFL odds unit giving up 20 points a game and nearly 120 yards rushing per game.

Phil Rivers has been excellent this season and the main reason why this team is 10-3 and winners of 8 straight. But at the same token during the streak the team has two quality wins over the Eagles (an injured Eagles) and the Broncos in Denver. The rest of the wins have come against mediocre teams. Still there is no such thing as an easy win online betting and the numbers don’t lie.
