Patriots make most of their many NFL Draft picks

Bill Belichek the mad scientist of the NFL draft somehow acquired about three dozen picks in the run up to the 2010 NFL draft and by all accounts made the most of his opportunity to breathe youth into his aging ball club.

With a dozen picks in the draft the Pats could select a whole new starting offense or defense and have a sub to spare, but as always one of the most respected coaches in NFL gambling used the multiple picks to fix multiple holes in what was already a pretty good team by NFL betting standards. NFL Draft: How may Qbs will go in the first round?

The QB class of ’10 is one of the most intriguing in recent NFL draft memory. Not so much for the talent of quality, but for the evolution and changes that the QBs and the group have gone through over the past 12 months of NFL gambling experts scrutiny. The only constant about the 2010 NFL draft QB class has been Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford at the top, but with the NFL draft still two days off, maybe even that could change before the first player is taken.

After the 2009 college football betting season this QB class was receiving as much NFL betting hype as any in memory. It was being compared to the likes of the legendary 1983 NFL draft that produces three Hall of Fame QBs, NFL gambling legends Jim Kelly, John Elway and Dan Marino. Santonio Holmes trades reverberates through NFL Draft

Whether it was a brilliant or an insane move by Pittsburgh Steelers to trade away former Super Bowl MVP Santonio Holmes matters little now but you can be sure that that move will have a major impact on the upcoming NFL Draft.

The move came as just the latest in an NFL betting off season that has seen many an interesting move. The McNabb trade to Philly comes to mind as does the Delomme signing in Cleveland. But neither of those moves will likely have as big an impact on the upcoming draft as the Steelers moving Holmes this NFL betting lines offseason. Read more…

NFL draft fans are well aware of the San Francisco Forty-Niners past success in the NFL gambling, having hoisted the Lombardi Trophy on five separate occasions –more than any franchise in the NFL betting history except the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But it’s been quite long time since the Niners even had a winning season, let alone won an NFL playoffs betting game. Dez Bryant NFL Draft expects

Perhaps the most intriguing player heading into this year’s NFL draft is Oklahoma State’s star WR Dez Bryant. This is a player that is tremendous risk in some NFL betting lines expert books, not worth even looking at until the second round; and yet he’s a top three pick according to other NFL betting gurus. That the perception of a player can vary so greatly from one opinion to the next is interesting indeed and because it does vary so widely, Bryant could take a draft day tumble and make some team very lucky and very happy to be able to land his services relatively cheap.

Heading into his junior season of college football betting competition NFL betting lines experts had him rated among the top WR talent in the country.
