Redskins at Chargers – Betting Odds

The Washington Redskins will be long shot betting odds underdogs at San Diego against the Chargers with the football betting lines in their regular season finale. The Redskins are out of the playoffs race while the Chargers have already clinched the number two seed in the AFC.

The Redskins will enter this matchup with a record of 4-11 straight up and 6-8-1 with the betting odds. Washington has failed to beat the football betting lines in their last two games. Last week the Redskins were shut out by the Dallas Cowboys 0-17 as 7-point home dogs with the betting odds.

This season has been one of near constant and total humiliation for both the Redskins team and head coach Jim Zorn. Zorn was stripped of his play calling duties earlier in the year and although the Redskins had a decent run with the betting odds in the middle part of their schedule they never really improved on an overall basis. Washington remains one of the least productive teams on offense with the betting odds and has played without fire and enthusiasm in their past two games.

It is likely that Zorn will be coaching his final game with the betting odds at San Diego as he will receive a “mercy killing” shortly after the game. Washington already fired its general manager earlier this month.

The Redskins are a surprising 4-2-1 with the betting odds on the road this year and have gone over the betting odds total 8 out of 15 games.
