Sports Betting – Cardinals at Niners

This game would have been a lot more appealing a month ago. At that time the Cards were still an up and down team and the Niners looked liked they still had a shot at the playoffs. But the Cards have emerged as one of the top teams in the NFC since then and the Niners have gone 2-6 in their past eight games.

The only thing that keeps this matchup semi-interesting is the fact that it’s a division rivalry. These two teams know each other well and will both be well prepared for the Monday Night football betting matchup. The one advantage that the Niners have is home field, but that won’t be enough to swing this Monday Night football odds contest in their favor.

The Cards have one of the most impressive offenses in the NFL and the Niners secondary is highly suspect. In fact, although San Fran’s all-around defense is decent, it’s one of the worst in the league in pass coverage and is giving up 250 yards passing a game.

That’s a perfect recipe for a Monday Night football betting beat down. QB Kurt Warner should have field day and WRs Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin should both have big games.

On defense the Cards should leave their mark as the Niners are severely challenged on offense. It’s a truly one-dimensional unit that can run the ball with some proficiency but is the second worse passing unit in the NFL (150 ypg). The Cards should win comfortably.
