The 2010 NFL betting odds season has been very strange on almost any account but one thing you probably never thought you see at the halfway of the season is the Tennessee Titans leading the NFL in offense.
This is a team that is traditionally a defensive minded team in the mold of head coach Jeff Fischer and scores just enough not to lose. But with Vince Young the 2nd highest passer in the NFL at the moment, RB Chris Johnson always just a handoff away from scoring (8 TDs in 8 games, and the addition of deep threat WR Randy Moss, this unit is formidable. The AFC South has surprisingly turned out to be the most competitive division in the NFL gambling action this season. Never before has this team had more than one or two legitimate playoff contenders but this season all four teams have shot at the post season. Baltimore has long been known for its defensive prowess and concussion inducing hitters. But the Falcons D has quietly played its way into prominence and in some ways has been more effective than the Ravens’ D this season. Both teams’ D rank in the top ten in the league and will have a huge role to play in this Week 10 showdown. Read more

The 2-5 Cincinnati Bengals are team in trouble and their Week 9 matchup against the 5-2 Pittsburgh Steelers is a must win situation. With Cleveland’s (3-5) surprise win over the New England Patriots (6-2) on Sunday the Bengals are now in last place in the AFC North. The playoffs are all but impossibility at this point with the stiff divisional competition and the best the Bengals can hope for this season is a winning record.
But if they can get a road win over a quality team like the Steelers, the team certainly has the talent to reel off a 5-6 game win streak and with injuries to other teams in the AFC you never know what could happen. Read more
