Sports Betting – AFC Roster Pro Bowl NFL Odds

Say what you want about the depleted rosters in this year’s Pro Bowl but it’s still the biggest collection of talent that NFL odds fans will see on one field this year. Sports betting fans still have plenty of reasons to tune in and many of the games top players will still be in uniform.

This year the teams are as evenly matched as ever and the NFL odds should be tricky as in previous years. While many people have made the AFC the underdog in the betting NFL action due to their perceived weakness at the QB spot, there are still plenty of players to watch on this roster.

Matt Schaub, the AFC’s starting QB led the NFL in passing yard this season (4,770) and was the only player in the NFL wagering to average over 300 yards passing per game. That kind of production deserves to be in the Pro Bowl and Schaub should have success throwing to his boy Andre Johnson, Ochocinco and Brandon Marshall.

But the real star of this game is RB Chris Johnson. The alleged “fastest man in football” had a hugely impressive season leading the league in yards from scrimmage and became one of the only players in history to rush for more than 2,000 yards. He will be the game’s MVP. He was the best offensive player in the league this year (also winner of the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year Award) and one of the few players in this game that was selected as an original starter in the game.
