Sports Betting Bills Playing for Pride in Hotlanta NFL Lines

So much for hope! At least this is true for the betting lines fans of these two mediocre franchises in 2009. 2009 was supposed to be a breakthrough year for both teams. Teams full of so much potential, so much optimism and ultimately so many losses.

Both the Bills and Falcons made some off-season changes and spent some free agent cash to make these teams better …at least on paper. But heading into week 16 the Bills are a measly 5-9 and the Falcons fighting to stay above .500 at 7-7.

Neither team has even a remote chance of getting a berth in the post season. But pride and plenty of it will be on the line, especially for the Falcons who are seeking their second consecutive winning season. That would be something unheard of for this franchise.

The Falcons have also been decimated by injuries and when healthy really are one of the NFC’s better teams. QB Matt Ryan is now healthy and directing sports betting traffic and should have his way with a Bills’ defense that giving up 350.1 ypg. RB Michael Turner should also be back in the lineup and create even more havoc for the Bills.

On the flip side the Falcons defense is terrible and giving up an embarrassing 371 ypg. But the Bills offense is one of the weakest in the NFL putting up just 16.1 ppg. This unit should pose little threat.

Plus the Falcons are a very good home team with a 5-2 NFL betting lines record and should grab another victory on Sunday for the fans.
