Sports Betting – Cowboys at Vikings Betting Lines

The Dallas Cowboys will head to frosty Minnesota to play the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in the NFL odds. Of all the games on the board this weekend this game has the slimmest sports betting spread at just 3 points in favor of the home dome Vikings. And there isn’t a single honest betting lines fan out there that is confident betting either way on this game.

This could very easily be the game of the week and could go either way. The host Vikings ended the NFL wagering regular season with a better record (12-0) but the Cowboys come to the Metro Dome with undoubtedly more momentum. Dallas is one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl right now and after beating the snot out of the Eagles in back to back weeks they seem talented enough to win it all.

But in order to take another step toward the Super Bowl the team has to get past the Vikings, something it can do. On offense the Cowboys need to be able to establish the run early in order to set up the passing game. Minny has one of the best front seven in the league and Dallas’ hawgs have to give Romo time. That being said the Dallas receiving corps is better than the Vikings secondary and if he has time Romo can pick apart the coverage. On defense, no team is playing as well as the Cowboys right now.

The team has given up an average of 4 ppg over its last three wins, but will have its hands full with Brett Favre and Adrian Peterson. The answer to stopping this two-pronged attack will be to put Favre on his back. The pressure from Dallas’ front seven over the past month has been the best in the league. If they can get to Favre the Cowboys have a very good shot at winning this game.
