Sports Betting – Week 15 Monday Night Football Betting Odds

December 21st, 2009 by Leave a comment Go to comments

It’s little coincidence that the NFC East has been the most competitive division in sports betting over the past half decade. Each division game seems as if game is life or death for these teams and regardless of the respective records when it comes to division rivalries these teams play as if it were the last game on earth.

And that is just a small bit of background as the New York Giants travel to Washington to take on the struggling Redskins in this week’s Monday Night football betting.

Neither of these teams is setting the world on fire at the moment and without a doubt the Giants have much more to play for than the Skins. But with all the divisional contempt built up between these teams there is nothing that Washington would love more than to play spoiler.

Philly has a two game lead in the division and Dallas is one game up on the Giants. But with these two teams facing off in week 18 and the Cowboys heading to a likely loss vs New Orleans this weekend anything is possible in this up for grabs division.

Giants are just 2-6 over the past two months but are 3-2 in the division, something that will help them in the playoff push. Redskins have yet to win a game in the NFC East which is quite a telling stat and no doubt a source of motivation.

This Monday Night football betting matchup will Washington’s best chance of the year to win a division game. They know that, the Giants know that and the rest of the NFC East knows that. It’s now up the team to rise up to the occasion of the Monday Night football odds stage and get a win.
